The Kennebec-Chaudière International Corridor extends from Québec City to the north to the City of Bath on the coast of Maine to the south. It runs along the Chaudière and Kennebec Rivers and is 372 kilometres or 233 miles long. The corridor spans approximately 25 kilometers or 16 miles on each side of the 201/173 roadway.

Current tourism activity is concentrated at the northern and southern gateways to the corridor; Québec City in the north and the coast of Maine in the south. In addition to creating an important link between the two established areas, this development project allows both Maine and Québec to offer a more complete line-up of cultural, historic and outdoor outlets and activities along the corridor.
